Adorable little winter wonderland Christmas window display

December 17, 2014

I walk by a store in town every morning that has a very simple, yet stunning little Christmas window display – its my favourite this year so far.

Little paper cut houses in a snowy scene with lights inside the little houses.

Mini Forest Garden…

December 10, 2014

One of my favourite blogs is called GreedyForColour – amazing creativity, book, adventures, tutorials and much much more… Its on GreedyForColour that I first got the idea of a mini potted garden … Kate (the blogger) posted a photo of a gift she received from her neighbour of a little garden world in a pottery jug.  This inspired me to make a few myself.  This one is an end of year Christmas gift for the girls art teacher.

I love this creation…its like a little outdoor terrarium … I think I’ll have to make some for myself next…

The Sweetest Sweet Peas….

December 9, 2014

Sweet peas ALWAYS remind me of my Grandad.  I love the colour, smell and gentleness to sweet peas.  These ones were a gift to me from a beautiful friend – they smell and look gorgeous and have made my week.  She even sent them with seeds so next year I can grow a garden full….mmmmm.

The second photo is the picture my Mum sent me of sweet peas fresh from her garden…seeds from the same sweet pea plant and more….again…gorgeous.
